Such a gateway allows a seller to accept payment in digital assets: it generates an address or invoice for the transfer, tracks the receipt of funds on the network, confirms the transaction, and, if necessary, converts the received amount. This simplifies the integration of crypto payments for a business that does not need to understand all the technical details of how the networks operate.
