The JCE Cryptonote miner, which offers maximum hashrate for central processors on various variations of the Cryptonote (Cryptonight) algorithm, has received support for mining on AMD graphics cards. Now, in terms of performance, the JCE Cryptonote CPU+GPU miner for AMD graphics cards is a good competitor to one of the fastest miners, such as SRB, which so far looks preferable mainly due to the large number of supported variations and functions. At the same time, the JCE miner compared to SRB can sometimes be a little faster, sometimes a little slower, it all depends on the algorithm and settings.
JCE Miner is a closed-source miner available only for Windows (for GPU) and with a developer fee of 0.9% (a separate CPU miner has a higher fee, for which a Linux version is available). Mining using JCE Cryptonote is available for graphics cards starting from the HD6xxx series, which have at least 1GB of video memory, although for maximum results it is recommended to use graphics cards with 2GB or more.
Compared to Claymore, XMRStack, XMRig, WildRig Multi, the JCE Cryptonote miner can offer up to 20% more hashrate for RX550, RX560 level graphics cards, as well as for older HD6xxx, HD7xxx cards. For modern and more powerful RX580 and Vega graphics cards, the advantage of the JCE Cryptonote miner is no longer so significant and amounts to no more than 5%. However, it is worth noting that the JCE Cryptonote miner starts working with 80% efficiency, and to reach maximum efficiency of 100% you need to wait at least 5 minutes and only after that compare the obtained hashrate with other miners.
When mining using central processors, with the use of the JCE miner for processors with AES support 64 (32), the better performance of JCE Cryptonote over other miners does not exceed 5%, whereas for central processors without AES support, using the JCE Cryptonote miner will raise the hashrate by 30-40%.
The JCE miner supports many variations of Cryptonote (Cryptonight), so it can be used to mine almost all popular variants. Variations of the Cryptonight algorithm supported by the JCE Cryptonote 0.33 miner:
- Original Cryptonight
- Original Cryptolight
- Cryptonight V7
- Cryptonight-Heavy
- Cryptolight-IPBC
- Cryptonight-XTL
- Cryptonight-Alloy
- Cryptonight-MKT/B2N
- Cryptonight-ArtoCash
- Cryptonight-Fast (Masari)
- Cryptonight-Haven
- Cryptonight-Bittube v2
- Cryptolight-Red
- Cryptonight V8
- Cryptolight-Dark
It also has support for both SSL and the extranonce function on NiceHash. Another useful feature of JCE Cryptonote that needs to be mentioned is support for automatic switching of mining to other cryptocurrencies (the pool needs to support this function).
Miner fees:
1.5% for processors with AES support
3% for processors without AES support
2.1% for graphics cards on the Heavy, HVX, Tube algorithms
0.9% for graphics cards on other algorithms
