Money goes to prison
The entrepreneur explained that he sent the money every six months. The four transfers of $500,000 each proved invaluable to the press. All of these funds went toward free education for people in correctional facilities. Representatives of Prison Professors confirmed receipt of the full amount and warmly thanked the benefactor. They noted the importance of such initiatives for federal prisons.
The charity Prison Professors was founded by former inmate Michael Santos. The foundation produces books, training courses and special self-study programs. Volunteers also help inmates plan their lives after release. Now the new multimillion-dollar injections will help significantly expand the project's technical base. The leadership plans to open up access to online lessons for every federal inmate. It is quite likely that new educational materials will appear in prisons across the country.
